Day two on my way to the coast was another long day of 22 kms, actually if I followed the guidebook the walk would have taken me 32 kms. We all know I don’t walk 32 km stages. 22 kms is pushing it a bit, by the end of a 20+ km day, I am not a very happy peregrina.
Today, however was a beautiful day, the path was half natural and the other half was on paved secondary roads. Pavement is very hard on the feet, but it seemed just when I had had enough pavement, a wonderful soft path through the forest would appear.
There were many pilgrims on the Camino route today, in fact it seemed today was the day I encountered the largest amount of pilgrims on the trail. The Ingles did not have many pilgrims on it, but this Camino surely does.
Arlene, Glad to see you are finally making it to the coast. Wish the weather had been better and we could have made it in April. Buen Camino.

Lovely photos Arlene and great to see the yellow arrow again. Glad the weather looks to be conducive to walking.
