Well for some reason I misread the terrain for today and was expecting an easy flat day. NOT!
OMG is all I can say.
It was a long hard day of ups and downs. The scenery was mountainous and at points pretty.
There was a distinct odor of cattle in the air and I needed to watch my step for most of the day.
But I arrived here in Triacastela after almost 7 hours of walking with another 14 miles/23 kms to click off my total walked so far.
Terrific photos once again Arlene! So beautiful. Looks like it rained though? I guess you are in Galicia after all! Bill

Pretty pictures again, especially the last one of the tree with so many knobs and twists on it. Are you almost at the end ?

Alto de Poio was a killer. I vowed I wouldn’t do any more hills after O Cebreiro, but the Camino has other plans.
Did you get to mass in O Cebreiro? Hope you haven’t had the rain we have experienced since Saturday.
Currently in Muxia- such power and majesty.
Blessings
Anne
