Wow, what a beautiful drive from Asheville, NC to Charleston – only 4 hours and clear sailing all the way.
We arrived at our hotel and checked in with ease. Our room overlooks the Charleston Harbor – views beautiful enough to make the end to the drive perfect.
We went up to the bar for Happy Hour and found some more amazing views.
We had a few drinks before dinner and I had the opportunity to watch the sunset over the low country.
Dinner was fried oysters with Buffalo sauce as an appetizer
Followed by crab cakes – I’m in southern heaven!
