I can assure you that Arlene could open a Santiago Tour Guide service with her knowledge of Santiago. I was fortunate enough to get some of the benefit of her knowledge following the Portuguese Camino. We found some great little places for meals or our cafe con leche, or even cafe Americano if we were more adventurous.

That is an excellent idea for her. With just a short time in Santiago most pilgrims could benefit from her knowledge and get a quick overview of the sites.
Have you had any motorcycle trips? Any blog coming up? Haven’t seen anything since just before your move.

Due to all that was involved in getting settled into this condo, I have not taken a bike ride. I think I will be going to CA to get the rest of my stuff in Sept, so might take a ride somewhere in October, but that is too late in the year for Wyoming. Guess I have just been lazy.

Yes, I surely do love Santiago, well not only Santiago but all of Galicia! And something red (or white) in hand goes without saying. Sure would be nice to be able to hang with you and Dale there one day!

Yep! We are saving now for the Italy trip with Bill. I would like to do one of his trips/caminos each year thereafter but we also want to do the Camino Frances again but start way further back in France. For us monetarily it will probably be a couple years yet for Le Puy. You will probably already have completed the Le Puy at least once by then maybe even have your casa rural. If not it would be great to meet up.

I’m only home 3 days and am seriously thinking of the Le Puy or Arles next May. I sure would like to do the Celtic walk in the fall as well. I’m going to have to do some serious financial manipulation if I want to pull all that off though; I’m already committed to a cruise to Bermuda with my youngest son and his family in the beginning of May.

We ARE going to Italy on Bill’s tour next spring. I then want to also do the Celtic walk and more Caminos. As you say “Once Bitten”!. We too need serious financial manipulation. Considering moving to a tent and a daily menu of bread and water .I go tobed each night thinking about walking and wake up still walking!
